Being self employed can be a real challenge and often a lonely existence. Many new business owners start by working from home and miss the daily contact of other individuals. It is therefore important to build up a good network of contacts.
For three years we operated the BYOB club on behalf of BusinessLink and in that time came in contact with over one thousand new business owners in South Bucks and Oxfordshire.
The aims of the club were as follows:
- Give business owners the opportunity to meet with fellow new business owners.
- Share ideas and concerns on a group basis.
- Support and mentor fellow club members
- Have the opportunity to listen and get ideas from group speakers
- Receive a regular newsletter on topical issues.
Whilst the club is no longer in operation, we are keen to support new business owners and help them network. If there is sufficient demand we will consider a new Oxfordshire club. Let us know if you require support developing your business by email
